Aku cukup bengang bila pagi tadi mak bercerita, ada anak jiran sekampung yang baru bersalin, tak beri bayinya susu badan. Mak kata "Dia kata susu badan tak de, tapi tetek besar!". (Ooops.. Please excuse my mother!). Anyway, breast milk is always, always, always, forever and ever the best. The first 3-14 days are admitted to be the most challenging period for new mommies, but trust me, it is really worth it. I've gone through those phases. But to those who had tried their very best as a mother and still the rezq (breast milk) is not plentiful, then it's ok. Allah knows and has the best plans for you and the baby.

Today should be exciting. That's sarcasm. No, actually, I'm feeling quite good lately. Over the weekend, I had a few experiences that changed how I look at certain aspects of my life and also how I look at my life in general. Details vs. Global. For one thing, we watched a rather strange movie. Secretary. It popped up on Netflix, so I put it in the queue because it looked like it would be funny and a little raunchy. It was. Not as funny as I presumed, and a bit more raunchy. I'm not even sure if I liked it, but I can say that it made me think. Some may see it merely as a movie about sadomasochism, but I think it's more an examination of fetishism and psychology. Anyway, it was a step "outside the box". And it was funny too. And raunchy. And I have long been a James Spader fan, and he didn't disappoint. Today's agenda includes going to the DMV and registering our new used car.
